Top 5 2019 NFL Win Total Bets

LVLE Faithful, it has been too long. Apologies for the prolonged absences, but that being said the NFL season is right around the corner and I know you are all ready to make some extra money. Some of the best bets to make are futures. The payouts are worth while and if you know what you are doing, it can be very easy to pick out obvious winners. Here are my favorite over/ under totals for the upcoming season. (All lines provided by

1) Jacksonville over 8 (-115)
The Jaguars are just one year removed from a season in which they were a few missed calls away from going to the Super Bowl. Tom Terrific really needed all the help he could get from the refs in that one, but that is neither here nor there. Jacksonville has retained the core pieces of that team. The defense is covered head to toe with playmakers. AJ Bouye and Jalen Ramsey remain one of the best CB duos in the league, Myles Jack anchors the defense at MLB, and Calais Campbell, Yannick Ngakoue, and Marcell Dareus are going to be a tough matchup for any offensive line they face this year. Also, the addition of QB Nick Foles is going to do wonders for their offense. Look for Dede Westbrook and Leonard Fournette to have big bounce back years as Jacksonville's playbook opens up. I loved Jacksonville over 8 long before Houston lost its mind and Andrew Luck retiring. A weakened division plus a veteran locker room hungry for redemption equals the over.

2) Lions over 6.5 (-140)
This is just downright disrespectful. I know the Lions struggled last year, but even then they still had 6 wins. There is no chance Detroit doesn't improve this year. Trey Flowers, Mike Daniels and Justin Coleman all fit in the scheme Matt Patricia is building. Detroit is going to take some pressure off Stafford this year with a commitment to the run game with Kerryon Johnson and the use of a two tight end set, something Lion fans have not seen in quite some time. Bob Quinn knows that last year his team did not protect his QB on offense, and did not get to the opposing QB enough. He addressed those needs in the offseason and it will pay off in the end. Also, I would like to take this moment to shoutout the two most underrated players in football in Quandre Diggs and Da'Shawn Hand. Remember those name.

3) Bengals under 6 (-125)
No AJ Green to start the year, no offensive line, and a terrible defense. Not even mentioning the fact they play in the AFC North, which is absolutely loaded this year. It will be a long and hard year for Bengals fans. Last year they had the worst defense in the league in terms of yards per game and ranked 28th in points per game. They honestly might not win a game in their division and Andy Dalton is the QB... thats a tough pill to swallow.

4) Seahawks over 8.5 (-125)
As long as Pete Carroll is the head coach of the Seahawks, I will have faith in them. Last year the team was suppose to tank and rebuild, they made the playoffs instead. Russell Wilson is a proven winner who extends plays time and time again. The trade for Jadevon Clowney was an all time steal, Bobby Wagner is a beast, and they improved the o-line by bringing in former pro-bowler Mike Iupati
5) Packers under 9 (-105)
Aaron Rodgers is the most talented QB in the league hands down. The man has brought me more bad sports memories than any other athlete and I will continue to sing his praises. However, the Packers front office dropped the ball big time in their head coaching search. Matt LaFleur was the offensive coordinator of the Tennessee Titans who averaged just 19.4 points per game (26th in the league) I don't see how a rookie head coach could just walk into a pretty tough NFC North and improve by three wins.
